iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

That's a handy feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that must be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can even remove wet spills but I would suggest drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could need. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.
The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that is functional even if you are not at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific path.
The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots of this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are nice to have, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner need.
Created to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and taking out all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
