The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and best robot Vacuum and Mop Combo dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the click of the button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. While these features are useful however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
